About Me...

My name is Amy Hall, I returned to school after a 27-year hiatus.  I have had a plethora of jobs and experiences throughout these past 27 years. I am a mom to four outstanding children, one married daughter and three sons.  I have raised my family with my husband for 25 years in the state of Arizona.  We lived for a short amount of time in northern Utah and then returned back to the Arizona valley due to a job offer for my husband.

I have many certificates and love learning new things. I currently work full-time as a paraprofessional at American Leadership Academy West Foothills Campus while attending BYU-Pathway to obtain my bachelor's degree in communications. I have worked as an administration assistant, paraprofessional, and coached cross country for 5 years in the education field. I am a hard worker that aims for perfection in any job I do.  I have worked as a lash tech, group fitness instructor, wedding planner, lifeguard, physical therapist assistant, and a substitute teacher to name a few jobs.  Teaching piano lessons throughout the past 25 years has brought me much joy in my life.  I never wanted to go back to school to finish my bachelor's degree yet wanted to broaden my job prospects.  I realized that not having that degree was holding me back from reaching my true potential.  Even though I love learning, I greatly dislike test taking which gives me anxiety.

I love traveling to new places and feels it exposes me to diverse cultures, cuisines, and landscapes. I find travel provides unique opportunity for personal growth and self-discovery.  Exploring the many creations that God has made is something that I love.  Beaches, mountains, and navigating bustling city streets, each journey offers a chance to create lasting memories.  In 2023 my husband and I had the opportunity to visit Italy, Greece, and Turkey.  The beautiful ancient ruins were amazing to see in person.
